Over many years Catrin Johnsson and Rachel Fuller have been contributing significantly to the singing life of Aotearoa New Zealand. Catrin and Rachel are passionate about helping people to sing more comfortably, more freely and more confidently. They know that ‘happy singers are happy people’ and to this end they endeavour to offer a safe and relaxed environment to enable singers to learn and sing at their very best.

In 2023 Rachel and Catrin offered their inaugural summer school ‘The New Zealand Voice Programme’ with the support of the Chiron Music Academy. This five-day intensive course offered singers and observing voice teachers classes in: linguistics, vocal technique, ensemble singing, stagecraft and drama, sessions in posture, body strengthening and alignment with Physiotherapist Michelle Booth as well as performance opportunities. Their second school followed in January 2024 and included guest tutor Jennifer Te Atamira Ward Lealand. This school offered multiple performance opportunities and built on the experiences of the first school.

In January 2024 the ‘NZ Voice Programme’ was officially launched. We have access to several fabulous venues in Auckland thanks to the Ockham Collective and we have lots of exciting plans ahead. Look out for announcements of workshops, masterclasses, guest tutors, lessons, coaching and performance opportunities here on our website and on our Facebook page.

We are seeking funding to implement our projects and would love to hear from anyone interested in supporting our endeavours.
